The research administered a small dose of THC, reportedly equivalent to one human joint, to six of the twelve «teenage» rats every three days. Additionally — the research revealed that both the average age at which cannabis use began and the average age of cannabis users are higher in Amsterdam than in San Francisco. The research indicated there is no evidence to suggest that the decriminalization of cannabis results in the later use of other illegal drugs.
